Diego is a gentle and affectionate lap dog. He is moderately active and would like to be part of a multi-dog family – he loves a playmate! He also loves children, but we don’t know how he would interact with cats.

Diego was taught quite a few commands by his previous owners. He knows stay, come, heel, sit, lay down, leave it and no. Smart boy. He is also fond of car rides. Diego will follow along after you without needing a leash unless he sees something exciting to chase, but can we really blame him for that?

Diego is currently being fostered in MO.

If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application; however, please be aware that our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit and yours to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
