Max in PA 2019 Headshot

Meet Max! He is white, fluffy and sweet - kind of like a marshmallow. And who doesn’t love marshmallows?

Max in PA 3At ten years old and 22 pounds, Max makes friends wherever he goes. He enjoys the company of people of all ages and of other dogs. Max has not experienced cats while in our care so we are not certain if his love of everyone will extend to future feline friends.

Favorite activities include taking walks, tummy rubs, playing with squeaky toys, cuddling and spending time with his family. Max is completely housebroken and will ring a bell or bark when he needs to go out. This laid-back and docile pup will not bark when someone knocks on the door, however. What a good boy!MAX PA 2019 2

Long drives in the car make Max carsick, but he is fine if he takes a preventative medicine. He also requires eye drops two times a day for a condition called dry eye. He is being evaluated for a procedure to correct this condition.

Max’s best home would be one where he is not left alone for long periods of time and can interact with kids and other animals. He will whine and cry initially when you leave him completely alone or when he is stressed.MAX PA 2019
