Clearly adorable, Pepper is a happy, active and very friendly 17-month-old Havanese. He weighs 13 pounds. He’s new to rescue and is just starting to settle in.

The list of things that Pepper loves is long! He loves walks, playing with toys, and meeting people and spending time with them. He has a lot of energy and would do well with someone who can help keep him engaged with games, activities and learning.

He would probably be very good in agility and would benefit from someone who wants to take some training classes with him. Pepper has attended puppy classes in the past.

Though he enjoys walks, Pepper gets easily distracted and pulls on his leash when he sees something interesting. He will work on his leash skills in foster care. Pepper is also going to refresh his house training skills and work on crate training.

We are looking forward to spending time with this happy-go-lucky puppy and getting to know him better.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
