Georgie--unlike "Georgie Porgie"--wouldn't kiss the girls and make them cry. This handsome, shy guy wants to please, and he likes to snuggle first thing in the morning.

He loves both men and women, and his favorite activity is walking with his foster sister.
Georgie likes small dogs, and he'd prefer another dog in the house with someone who is home most of the time. His foster home is working on making him feel more secure so that his separation anxiety will be lessened. He is leash-trained and working on his house-training skills. Georgie is just over two years old and weighs 16 pounds. Whoever adopts him should have a fenced-in backyard. Georgie currently is being fostered in North Carolina.

If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application, however, please be aware than our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit, and yours, to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
