Luna in FL SmallFace 200Petite Luna weighs a mere 8 pounds.

This darling senior girl, age 13, came to HRI after her beloved owner passed away. Luna loves people and is getting accustomed to her foster home. She isn’t friendly to the other dogs in the foster home and would like to be an only dog in her forever home. She assures you she is so sweet and loving that she can keep you in good company all on her own!

Luna is partially blind due to cataracts, but is otherwise healthy. She recently went to the vet for a senior exam including blood work and was declared to be in good condition. Luna is good on a leash but because she can’t see well, she’s not up for long walks. She prefers to do her business outside and then go back inside again.

Luna is hoping for someone who is looking for a buddy to spend time next to her, hopefully at least some of that time on the sofa! She enjoys hanging out on the couch and following her foster mom around. She’s a calm dog and is described by her foster mom as a sweetheart. Luna also does well with men, but it’s unknown how she gets along with children. She prefers to be an only dog as was mentioned earlier. We are sure there’s someone special out there who will enjoy this sweet girl’s company. She’ll make your house a home!Luna 2019
