In Foster Care

HeadPlaceHolderHey, my name is Missy and to say that I know the ropes is an understatement! I’m a ten-year-old little girl (so I’m experienced), sixteen pounds, spayed, up to date on my shots and used to being slightly indulged. (I was an only furbaby in my last home). I also have my own bed where I am perfectly happy sleeping.

Missy on the hearthI’m good-natured and get along well with other dogs, even new ones that I meet on my walks. I like children, am housebroken, crate and leash trained. Pretty good, huh?

I am lovable. I love to cuddle, give kisses, and snuggle. People call me a “Velcro Dog,” whatever that is! But it sounds like fun — and I love to have fun. I love playing, running, tossing my toys and being with my human on walks or just relaxing. I hope the best years of my life will be spent loving and being loved by my own family. Could you be my family?

Missy is being fostered in NC.

If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application; however, please be aware that our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit and yours to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.

Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
