LunaNJ1Luna enjoys the canine companions in her foster home and looks to them for cues as to what is an appropriate response to things. Her foster mom says that Luna would like to be the top dog in the pack.

Luna does really well with men, women, teenagers and children who are respectful around small dogs. She even meets strangers with ease. She has good leash manners. Luna enjoys human companionship and does best when she has a person around her most of the day and night.

A perfect houseguest, Luna is reliably house trained and is thrilled to sleep on the bed at night with her foster parents. She curls up at the foot of the bed and doesn’t move all night. She doesn’t want anyone to accuse her of being a bed hog!

Luna is very trainable and thinks a follow up with a treat is the best thing ever! She enjoys chew items like flossies and bones, but has no interest in toys.LunaNJ3

Luna doesn’t do well in confined closed spaces. When she’s enclosed in a room alone, Luna becomes very anxious. Her foster mom is working with Luna to teach her to accept being in an ex-pen in the kitchen and she is becoming more comfortable with this. She’ll need continued work on this behavior after she goes to her forever home.

Luna’s foster mom says this little dog is a delightful addition to her foster family. Someone will be very fortunate to adopt this darling girl.

Luna is being fostered in NJ.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
