Meet Ruby! She was found with her mother, Molly, after Katrina took away their family. They'd spent several weeks on their own and were quite underweight and very matted when they got to the shelter. Identified as Havanese mixes by the folks at Lamar Dixon, Ruby and Molly made their way across the country with Havanese Rescue Inc. Both had to be shaved to remove the mats. Their coats are growing back though and they'll soon be their shaggy selves once more.
Because their family has never been found, these girls are ready to start a new life with you. Though they enjoy each other's company, each girl will be happy with love and attention from her own family if you are only able to adopt one dog.
Ruby is a sweet girl, very ready for her new family. She's been spayed and is UTD on all vaccinations. She's young, healthy and friendly. If you've been looking for a loving hairy one to join your life, Ruby could be your girl.
