*ADOPTED* If Sasha could talk she'd tell you something along these lines: "Toys? They're my FAVORITE! Playing chase with another dog? That's my FAVORITE! Resting on somebody's lap? That's my FAVORITE! Kids? They're my FAVORITE! Running in a fenced back yard? That's my FAVORITE!" That's right, this is one happy upbeat pup who loves life.
Sasha was surrendered when her family said they were moving and could not take her with them. Reportedly she had housetraining difficulties but she has responded quite well to the schedule and consistency in foster care.
Sasha is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She would do best with a family that has someone home much of the time. She is very much a velcro dog. Sasha also enjoys playing with another dog so a canine companion that wants a youngster around would be a plus.
Sasha's enthusiasm and curiosity could get her into trouble so a family that will be attentive to her to be sure she does not slip out an open door or under a fence is absolutely essential. Sasha loves praise and learning new things and would do well to continue with some obedience training as well as some tricks. Someone who really wants to spend time with a hairy Havanese companion could find a match made in heaven right here in Long Island, NY where Sasha is in foster care.
