NOAH WI HEADSHOT1Meet Mr. Sociable. Noah is a bouncy, happy 3-year-old Havanese who weighs in at 12 pounds.

Noah loves to be petted and cuddled but is not demanding of your time and attention. He enjoys it immensely when it's offered and loves to simply sit and watch when you are busy with other things. He gets along with men, women, and teenagers. He doesn't live with any children and is somewhat possessive of his foster mom, so we are looking for a home without children.

NOAH WI STANDINGNoah does bark a lot in greeting others including members of his foster family when they come into the room from another area of the house. He'll need to work on curbing this behavior with his forever family..

Noah plays very nicely with his two Havanese foster sisters and loves to give chase when the mood hits. He hasn’t met a dog yet that wasn’t a friend. He is sociable and greets other dogs in a very polite manner. He ignores the family cat (which the cat says is just fine!).

NOAH WI CHAIR

Noah is playful and LOVES his toys. He will frequently entertain himself by pulling the squeaky bees out of his hide-the-bee dog toy. Noah has been known to fling them onto the counter tops or over the top of the TV when he really gets going! He enjoys any toy that squeaks and makes noises when he shakes it. It's hard to know who's having more fun - Noah or the person watching him - once he starts playing.

Noah can walk on his back legs for quite a distance, but he doesn’t like to show off, so when he’s out for a walk, it’s 4 paws to the ground. He comes when he's called and is doing well with his house training.

Noah is accepting of staying at home for an hour or two when you have to leave. He will chew through a tie-out or leash within seconds if left alone outdoors, however, so he needs a person who will stay outside with him at all times. If you have to run back inside to grab your phone or change your shoes, Noah will have to come right back inside with you.

NOAH WI DOG BED

Noah would love a family where someone has time to enjoy all his charms. He's always been a beloved family member and needed rescue's help only after his first owner passed away. He would be fine as an only dog as long as he has human companionship and is not left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time. He thrives on human company. A family with no children would be best.

NOAH is being fostered in WI.

A donation will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended donation amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
