My name is Max and I’m a very healthy, three-year-old Havanese. I was in foster care for just short while and I’ve won the hearts of everyone who met me. I’m adorable and I can’t help it.
I have learned to sleep in a crate but I love cuddling in bed or on the couch before bedtime. I’m happy to report that I haven’t had even one accident in the house and my foster mom is even happier about that than I am!
I’m learning to play nicely with my foster brothers and sisters and still working on my manners. I already learned how to ‘sit’ and love the treats I get just for sitting down. Easy as pie!
I’m definitely not one of those annoying yappy dogs. I do enjoy the sound of my own voice on occasion and just this morning I howled for my foster mom for the very first time. I have a beautiful voice and she was impressed, I could tell.
After I finish some training, I’ll be ready for my forever home. I’d like to have a brother or sister to play with, and older children are ok. I do not like cats, not one bit, so I’d rather have a home without kitties.
Max is being fostered in TX.
