Pixie's name describes her perfectly. This sweet five-year-old is a wonderful pet and only wants to be loved. Pixie is definitely a people dog. She gets along well with other dogs but isn't all that interested in them. All she wants is you!
Pixie, in typical Havanese fashion, is a velcro dog. She follows her foster mom everywhere; her mom tripped over her a few times before learning to make sure Pixie isn't underfoot. If her foster mom is sitting down, Pixie is right beside her hoping for her favorite thing: a tummy rub. Pixie sleeps through the night snuggled in bed with her foster mom -- as snuggled as she can be sleeping on her back with her legs in air.
Pixie loves to go on walks with her foster brothers. She is house-trained and goes to the door when she wants to go for a walk. She gets along well with her foster brothers but gets upset when they rough house, so Pixie should either be an only dog or perhaps have just one doggie sibling. Pixie's other wish for her forever homes to live in a house. She will stand at the door and bark after you leave, so a condo or apartment won't be the best.
Pixie is being fostered in FL.
