Bo (or Bo Jangles or Bo-Boy) is a five-year-old, fun-loving, energetic Havanese who weighs a sturdy 13.2 pounds. If you want a very gentle dog who will be your loyal companion and follow you wherever you go, Bo’s your man.
Bo has many adorable traits that make him special. He has a slight underbite that makes him look like he is smiling all the time. His wavy, thick coat is unusual: it is white with silver and tan mixed in all over. Bo’s tail is curled up most of the time, unless he is excited; then his tail waves in the wind.
If Bo sees you lying on the couch, he will jump up with you and ask you to give him a tummy rub. He will approach you with toys to ask you to play fetch with him, although he is still learning to drop the toy instead of playing tug of war over it. Bo never gets tired of playing; you will get tired before he does!
Bo is extremely special and deserves that very special family that is looking for a fun-loving and energetic dog. Bo’s major requirement for his new home is a securely fenced in yard. Bo is very adventurous and will need to be watched when out in the yard, even with a secure fence. But what Bo wants more than anything is someone who is willing to spend lots of time with him and give him hugs, kisses, and, of course, belly rubs.
Bo is great around older children who are respectful and who take the time to play with him or give him the love he craves. Bo is fine with either being the only dog or living with other dogs. Bo is truly a family dog! He is also very obedient and loves to please. He is housetrained and will tell you when he needs to go out.
Bo is being fostered in NJ.
