Every Hav is adorable, but sweet Benji is much more than just a pretty face! Benji is a black-and-white parti, sable-tipped, five-month-old, six-pound bundle of joy! He is a happy and energetic puppy who is always looking for a new toy to play with or a moose antler to chew on. Although he loves to play with the other Havanese in his foster home, Benji is content to grab a toy and toss it around on his own. He is adept at entertaining himself, an enviable trait. He loves to entertain anyone with a treat in hand by dancing on his hind legs.
Benji is one smart boy: he is already housetrained and will use a doggy door to go outside and do his business. He even used the doggie door during a recent rainstorm; he's not afraid of a few raindrops! His foster home is also training him with bells so he can let them know when he needs to go outside—he may need a refresher in his new home though. He is also crate-trained and will go into his crate and lay down for a nap when he is ready for a break. Benji has never met a stranger and is happy to meet new people and dogs. He is a great car traveler and loves to go for rides in his car seat.
Benji's wish list for a perfect home includes someone who is there most of the time. He loves and quickly attaches to his people. Although he is a fairly independent puppy, like most Havanese he prefers to be around his family. He would also love a fenced yard and another small dog to play and run like heck with.
