Meet Emmy and Zoe. You have heard the saying “double the pleasure and double the fun,” well these girls have it in spades! These two girls aren’t just friends, they are cousins. Emmy is 13 years old and weighs 12 lbs and Zoe is 12 years old and weighs 5 lbs. They have lived together all their lives.
Don’t let their age fool you though, these girls love to play with their toys and will carry them all over the house, prepared for a game at any moment. However, with age has come wisdom and appreciation of the comfy parts of life like being little couch potatoes and, even better, bed warmers, snuggling close at night.
Both are sweet and loving dogs. Zoe is a typical “Velcro dog” meaning she will follow you anywhere and make sure you don’t get lonely, and, if you are so inclined, she will gladly let you carry her. Either way works for her as long as she is keeping you company. Emmy on the other hand wants to make sure your seat stays nice and warm and, therefore, is content to stay on the sofa and wait until you return.
These girls are crate trained and understand “potty outside.” They get along well with their foster Havanese siblings, but their “furever” home wish list would include not having to share their people if they didn’t have to. They are happy to meet new adults but don’t have much experience with children.
Emmy and Zoe would do well in a house with just the two of them, so on the top of the wish list is a “furever” home that keeps them together.
Emmy and Zoe are being fostered in NE.
A donation will be requested to adopt these dogs. The recommended donation amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
