Georgie is an 11-month old, Havana brown and white male. His foster Mom calls Georgie the "border collie of Havanese." He has a very direct gaze, is extremely bright, intuitive, and extremely eager to please - he has the potential to do very well in agility and trick classes.
Georgie currently has a very shy temperament and is still a bit unsure of himself with new people and/or situations. He needs an experienced dog person to be mindful of his "cues", work with his insecurities and continue his training.
Georgie gets along wonderfully with his 2 foster siblings and is very respectful and good with cats. With calm, careful introduction he handled himself very well with his foster Mom's family, which included 2 small children and one very tall son-in-law.
Georgie has an extremely soft coat that will need lots of care to keep him looking his best. But he is extremely good about grooming, and has handled all aspects of his care wonderfully. Georgie is a "diamond" with a ruff and continues to blossom in foster care.
Georgie is being fostered in Northern CA.
