Daisy is a happy, busy eight-month-old Havanese puppy. She loves playing with the other small dogs in her foster home but likes attention from people the best. Daisy loves snuggling up with her foster mom. She's still a little shy around men and people when she first meets them. She does well with respectful and dog savvy children. Daisy is a sweet and gentle little soul.
Daisy sleeps beautifully in her crate at night. She is doing well with her house training too, and need to continue working on that in her new home. She does well with a positive and low-key approach. She needs her person to go outside with her and remind her, "Go potty!" and tell her she did a good job when she's done her business. Daisy is smart and knows that after she's pottied, she can run and play in the house. If she hasn't gone, she goes back in her crate until she tries again in a few minutes.
The Wisconsin winter hasn't stopped Daisy's love of the outdoors! This little gal (not quite 10 pounds) loves being outside! She walks well on a leash, but also loves running and playing in the fenced backyard of her foster family.
Daisy LOVES playing with toys and is especially fond of things she can chew on. One of her favorite things to play with is an empty milk bottle! Daisy likes to carry it around the house. She also likes empty water bottles and water bottle toys such as those we carry in our Hav-To-Hav-It store. Daisy even plays brief games of fetch with her foster mom.
Daisy is ready for a family of her own to love. She'll do best in a family where someone is home most of the day and night. She gets lonely if someone isn't there with her. Daisy loves to please and enjoys hearing what a good girl she is. Anybody who adopts this happy charming little girl will be lucky indeed.
Daisy is being fostered in WI.
