Floyd is a sweet-natured Havanese x Maltese mix. He’s three-and-a-half years old and weighs about 15 pounds. His black and white coat is soft and somewhat curly.
Floyd is often anxious, but is feeling more confident after spending time in a dog savvy home with other small dogs. He’s found his place in the pack, and his personality is shining through.
He spends his day playing with his foster brother in the morning, then napping and tossing toys. Floyd is always ready for someone to throw a toy for him to chase. He also loves going outside for a walk. He’s the first one at the door when he hears his foster mom say, “out” or “walk”!

At night Floyd sleeps on one of the doggie beds in the bedroom. Though he likes to go into a crate for a nap, he doesn’t like to have the door closed. Floyd would love a forever home with a dog savvy family
where someone is home much of the day. He does best when things are pretty calm and quiet, so he’d do best in an adult home without children. Floyd would love to have
another well-socialized small dog for companionship. He really needs a fenced yard too so he can freely run and can chase after birds and squirrels.
