Max is a very sweet, 16-pound, 8-year-old Havanese mix who will melt your heart with his big eyes. He is well behaved and loves spending time with his humans. Max has beautiful, fluffy, white hair and doesn't shed; you will love sinking your hands into his incredibly soft coat while giving him the belly rubs he begs for.
Max will make a wonderful family pet, especially for a family with older children. He loves to go for walks, cuddle on the couch, and keep you company in bed at night. Max is happy to visit other dogs but prefers to keep his home and people all to himself.
Max needs some help remembering how to be fully housetrained. His foster mom is working with him, and we are confident that in the right home with patient owners, he will get it down pat.
Max's wish list for his new forever home includes:
- To be an only dog.
- To have either a fenced yard or someone willing to walk him four or five times a day.
- A patient family to help solidify his housetraining.
- Someone to be around most of the day and evening.
- To sleep in bed with new his family.
- A home where pets can be on the furniture.
