Flip is a darling Havanese puppy that loves life! This little guy has charmed everyone he's met with his adorable chocolate face, constantly wagging tail and his persistence.
Flip manages to get into all kinds of puppy trouble and pesters his foster brothers and sisters. He has to work extra hard to get around because he has significant orthopedic problems with both rear legs.
At the end of June, Flip had surgery on his left leg to repair his knee and his hip. He's recovering beautifully! Flip is currently getting PT to help him strengthen his muscles. He takes every opportunity we give him and runs with it! You can see him in action in several videos on his "Overcoming the Odds" webpage
Flip had a follow-up appointment with his surgeon at the end of July. His surgeon was impressed at just how well Flip is doing. He was moving well enough that he had the surgery to amputate his right leg at the end of July.
Flip, a funny, charming, and very mischievous puppy, is recovering well and is moving to his foster-to-adopt family soon.
Flip is being fostered in WI.
