Jax is a very energetic Havanese puppy who loves human attention. He'll be a year old in September and is hoping he'll be able to celebrate his birthday with his new family. Jax would do well with children over the age of ten where someone is around the home much of the time to give him attention. His exuberance makes him a little too active for younger children.
Jax likes playing with toys, playing fetch and spending time with his people. He is smart and can learn quickly. He needs guidance to help him channel his energy in a positive way. He enjoys running around a fenced yard, but wants his people to be with him while he's playing. If you've been looking for company on your long, daily walks, Jax is just the guy for you! He loves long walks, and needs these every day.
Jax weighs 18 pounds, and is still working on his house training. His foster family is also working with him to stop his jumping up on people in excitement. He would do really well with a family that wants to work with him, taking an obedience class so this happy dog can learn what is expected of him and his people learn to communicate with him.
JAX is being fostered in FL.
