WINDY MS HEADSHOT2Windy is a ten-year-old Havanese with a soft and wavy black and white coat.  At 20 pounds, she is looking for a walking companion to help her trim her figure. She enjoys these walks, and the time with her person. It's also a good way for Windy to explore the world. She's curious about everything!SeniorAdvantageIcon

WINDY MS 2Windy needs medicated baths every week to keep recurring yeast infections at bay. She's very good at getting bathed. Her foster mom calls it her "spa day" and Windy agrees that's just what they are. She's a very sweet and affectionate girl and just loves being with her people!

Windy is house trained, leash trained and crate trained. She needs a securely fenced yard as she's able to leap over baby gates and low fences. She's very curious and needs to be supervised because she gets into things she shouldn't.

Other information: Windy would love to cuddle with you at night!  She gives you kisses in the morning and greets you with kisses when you come home!

WINDY MS 3

Remedial Behaviour Issues: Windy does need to be watched because she is so curious.  She will get into everything!  We are working on her learning boundaries.

Windy's Wish List:

• A fenced back yard, as Windy can jump over a small fence or baby gate

• A doggy door, because Windy does need frequent potty breaks.

• Daily walks to help trim Windy's figure, especially long walks at sunset

• Relaxing in the garden

• Having someone to cuddle with and give kisses to all day long

• While she loves to lay at her foster Mom's feet, it would be wonderful to have her own special person at whose feet she could lay.

Windy is house, leash and crate trained. She will need an attentive owner to keep up daily allergy medication and weekly medicated baths. She is good with other dogs and children of all ages. Windy can be a little vocal when meeting new friends and will need a patient hand to help guide her enthusiasm.

Windy wants you to know that she would love bed privileges, too!

WINDY is being fostered in MS.
