Lola is almost ready to celebrate her first birthday. She's 9 1/2 pounds of love and fluff. Lola's foster mom says Lola is a very lovable puppy and always full of surprises. She likes to cuddle and freely gives away kisses.
Lola loves to play with toys and will often have a toy in her mouth as she runs around happily barking without dropping it. (That's quite a trick)! Lola likes being close to where her people are and also likes being around her canine foster brother and sister.
Lola has already learned some pretty good puppy manners and is polite and respectful when taking a treat, sharing a water bowl and getting her turn at "on the lap time." She is crate trained too. Lola gets along with other dogs and with children. She is working on the fundamentals of house training and is doing well, but continues to need a little fine tuning. Her adoptive family will need to continue working with her and establish a routine.
Lola has a lot of favorite things! She loves snuggling next to her people, playing with toys, thinks tummy rubs are wonderful and also really enjoys going on walks. She'd love a family that has time to give her lots of attention, enjoy her puppy antics and continue training her with a positive approach. Lola is a smart little dog and wants to please. She will be a great addition to a family!
Lola is being fostered in Port Charlotte, FL.
