Chester is a 7-month-old chocolate Havanese who is as sweet as he is beautiful. He weighs in at 9 pounds. Chester was born with radioagenesis. He's missing the radius bone in his left front leg. He walks and runs on three legs. Chester got a rough start in life being born in a puppy mill. He was left at a shelter, who fortunately contacted HRI.
Chester is a lover. He wags his tail and wiggles all over with everyone he meets. He loves to snuggle. Chester is friendly and playful with every living thing. He enjoys playing with his foster brothers -- but he is also quite independent and is content to play by himself. He enjoys walks on a leash and running off-leash in fenced in areas. Chester limps when he walks, but can run like the wind.
