At just 13 weeks old, Woofie, a 4.8 pounds of happiness! This little guy is new to rescue and is part of our Foster To Adopt program. His foster family is in love with him and plan on adopting him.
Woofie is an outgoing little guy who is very affectionate. He never wants to get too far away from his foster mom but he's happy to sit with foster dad too, as long as he can keep mom in sight. He is very curious and is eager to see what his foster brothers, 2 Havanese and an eskie, are up to. He may have been separated from his litter a little too early and he's happy to have another 8 month old havanese around now to teach him the ways of Havanese puppying!
Woofie's favorite activities include cuddling, napping on laps, chasing and being chased by his foster brothers, and sniffing curious kitties.
Woofie isn't a fan of his harness and leash, but he is working on getting to know them better. He is just beginning to learn basic obedience commands, but is very smart and plans on enrolling in Puppy Class to further his education soon. Woofie is a bit of a cord chewer and he needs some bitter apple and positive reinforcement to discourage him from that nasty habit. He's also working on his house training, of course.
