Tink Tink 1resizeFive-year-old Tink Tink is a happy and sweet Havanese mix that is loving life in his foster home.

TinkBWThis 18-pound gentleman was found as a stray and landed in a shelter. His soulful eyes, sweet nature and upbeat attitude caught the attention of one of the volunteers there who saw past the mats and grime this poor guy collected while he was out on his own. His foster mom says that if she were to pick a celebrity that he reminds her of, it would be James Garner.

Tink Tink is recovering well after surgery to repair a serious leg injury. He's getting around without any problem and loves both his walks on leash as well as playing outside in the fenced backyard of his foster home.

Tink Tink is charming and well-mannered. He gets along with men and women and older children as well as other dogs. He hasn't been exposed to children under the age of 10 or to cats while in rescue. He is house trained, leash trained and crate trained. Tink Tink likes riding in the car, too. He's an overall friendly and happy dog!

Tink Tink loves being close to his people. He's very affectionate and seems to say, "Thank you for rescuing me!" many times a day. He's happy to be outdoors with his family, but he also makes an excellent couch potato and will keep your lap warm while you sit on the sofa. As soon as he's on his foster mom's lap, Tink Tink goes belly-up so she can scratch his chest. His tail wags happily over any attention. Tink Tink loves playing with toys and is even willing to share them with his canine buddies in foster care.He especially loves squeaky toys.

Tink Tink would love a family with time to spend with him. He'd enjoy a backyard where everyone can hang out together and where he can explore while off leash. He's good in the car and would be thrilled to make a roadtrip home with the family lucky enough to adopt him. Tink Tink is being fostered in Texas.TinkSide
