Darling Billy is a two-year-old cream-and-grey Havanese. This sweet shy boy came to foster care from a small shelter.
Billy has adjusted well to his foster home. He loves toys, particularly those with squeakers! He has a favorite canine friend in his foster home, a senior foster dog. The two love to cuddle together during the day.
Billy also enjoys playing with the other small dogs in his foster home. He has even started playing with his foster mom. He happily dances about, will pat her hand and responds playfully if she pats the floor. He seems to be working up to the point where he’ll accept or exchange toys with her. As he becomes more confident and comfortable, his darling personality is showing more every day. He enjoys being petted and scratched and getting treats.
Though he loves to eat, Billy waits patiently for his dinner. He’ll move in to help the other dogs finish their meal unless his foster mom supervises him.
Billy is house trained and walks on a leash. He’s not a barker either. He is a great companion and a very sweet little dog who wants to please.
Billy is actively looking for a family of his very own. He would love a human who will wait patiently as he adjusts to his new home and family. He also wants a canine buddy who would like a close sidekick. Billy does well with both men and women and older children who aren’t too rambunctious. He loves companionship and will be a great addition to the family lucky enough to adopt him.
Billy is being fostered in Florida.
