Nemo in WA Headshot

specialneedsicon

Five-year-old Nemo is cuddly and sweet. His ideal spot is right next to you on the couch or on your lap if you give him the o-kay. (The household cat is a little miffed about that since he thinks he owns his mom’s lap!)

Nemo likes being outside, lying or exploring in the sun. He enjoys daily walks and does well on a leash. He’s hoping that his forever home will take him for walks regularly even if he has a fenced yard. Nemo is trained to use a piddle pad in the house will use it consistently if it’s in the same place.

Nemo enjoys everything having to do with food. He likes to hang out in the kitchen when his people are cooking on the chance that someone might give him a sample. He enjoys his mealtimes and appreciates that his foster mom changes up his meals now and then.

Nemo takes medication several times a day to control seizures. With his medical regimen, he now has a seizure about once a month.

Nemo gets along well with the other dogs in the household and also does fine around the cat. Nemo likes people as well, including the children he’s met while in foster care. He would do best in a quiet home with someone who is around most of the time. He’d be the perfect partner for someone who wants the company of a very calm and loving dog. He’d be fine as an only dog, but he’d do equally well with another easy-going dog. Nemo will be a great companion for the family fortunate enough to adopt him!

Nemo is currently being fostered in Washington State.
