Pedro is an adorable seven-year-old Havanese new to HRI rescue. This much-loved little dog just lost his owner and is adjusting to a new environment. He has shown himself to be loving, happy and gentle. He weighs about 13 pounds which Pedro would tell you is just the perfect size for a snuggly lap dog.
This sweet-natured boy loves going for walks and car rides. He is crate trained, leash and house trained. He is currently taking medication for separation anxiety, but this may be a result of some tumultuous times recently as his owner’s health declined and Pedro had to be boarded on and off at a vet clinic. He seems to be doing well in his foster home.
Since he has been in foster care only a short time, we only know that Pedro loves men (his former owner was an elderly gentleman) and does fine with children over the age of 12.
A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
