Orli is an adorable 2.5-year-old Havanese who grew up in a puppy mill. She is adjusting to her foster home and is especially fond of her canine foster brother. He’s teaching her how to play and enjoy life as a pampered Havanese.
Though she has lots of toys from which to choose, Orli especially likes finding clothing or linens from the laundry and will drag those items with her all around the house! We like to think she’s taking a bit of her foster mom with her as she goes about her day.
Orli continues to work on her house training. She is a former puppy mill dog and is still rather standoffish but loves sleeping in the big bed with her foster mom and foster brother and will allow herself to be picked up.
Since arriving in foster care, Orli has put on a little weight and is now closer to her ideal weight at 11 pounds. Her black and white coat is growing so nicely. She is quite adorable!
Orli loves being outside and often has to be coaxed to come back into the house. She is food motivated, however, which helps.
Orli will soon be looking for a family of her own. She will need another well-socialized dog to show her the ropes in her new home.
Orli is being fostered in Delaware.
A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
