HeadPlaceHolder Six-year-old Halo loves attention and is happiest spending time with people. She’ll follow you about though she’s happy to play with her toys if you’re busy. She prefers stuffed animals with dangly legs and a squeaker. She keeps them with her as she goes about the house. She is a petite nine pounds and is white with light beige markings. She has beautiful black eyes and dark pigment. We find her sweet face hard to resist!

Halo 1 AustinSThis sociable little girl was once a therapy dog and loved going to colleges to play with and relax the students. She takes seriously her ability to be a companion. She seems to have a slight preference for women over men.

Because Halo was an only dog in her former home, she is adjusting to living with another dog in foster care. She'd probably be happiest as an only dog but may adjust to a canine companion. Halo 2 AustinHalo 4 AustinS Halo loves to go on walks, is great in the car and did well at the groomer. This well-mannered girl will sit nicely so she can get a treat and knows a few commands. She is house-trained and will go to the door when she needs to go out. Bell-training would be helpful so her family knows that she is waiting to go out. Halo has a favorite pillow to sleep on, but would happily accept an invitation to sleep on the bed with her people.

Halo will be a terrific addition for the family fortunate enough to adopt her. She will be happiest in a home where someone is able to spend a lot of time with her.

Halo is being fostered in Texas.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.

Thank you for considering a rescue dog!Halo 5 AustinHalo in TX 6 resizedHalo in TX 7 resized
