Slow To Warm Up
When it comes to other dog friends, Ram can be selective. He tends to play roughly and can be pushy with familiar dogs. He's anxious around small children and should be placed in a quiet adult household or household with older children who are respectful dog-savvy children only.
While in foster care Ram continues to work on his reactivity when he is on leash. He will need supervision around children until his reactivity has lessened. He knows some basic commands, is house and crate trained. He may require frequent potty breaks when he is in a new environment, but he is quick to figure things out.
He can be a little slow to warm up to new people. At times he seems a little aloof, but when given space and time he settles in and enjoys some snuggles and attention. He also enjoys walks and exploring.
Ram does not like thunderstorms and can be leery of unknown objects in his path, but can you blame him on either account?
Ram is being fostered in TX.
