Meet Piper, an adorable little chocolate drop now being fostered in California. Piper is 7 years old and weighs 16.6 pounds.
Piper has a shy and timid nature but enjoys being with people. Her foster mother reports that Piper learns things quickly.
Piper gets excited when she knows she's going to go for a walk. She is house trained and crate trained.
Piper likes both men and women and likes being with considerate children over the age of 10. We haven't seen her interact with younger children.
Piper enjoys the company of other dogs and is learning to live in a home with a cat. She does sometimes chase the cat but stops if the kitty doesn't run. Piper likes toys and is able to entertain herself alone with them.
Piper is on prescription food for skin allergies. She has also had a problem with ear infections in the past.
Piper would love a family of her very own. She is a sweet dog who will be a great companion and family member.
Piper is being fostered in Southern California.
