Buster is a one-year-old, 16-lb little boy who believes one of his jobs in life is cleaning humans. When he hasn’t seen one for a minute, he gleefully expresses his excitement by jumping for joy and happily washing their face for them. If ever a face he is interested in isn’t responding as he thinks it should, or if he requires assistance, then he speaks up about the lack of attention. A whine is generally enough for him to state his case; he’s not a barker.
Buster hasn’t found much of an interest in toys, as humans should always be available for play time. Laps are the best bed, in his opinion, because humans need constant cuddling. There should never be a need to ascend stairs by his own volition when there should be arms available to carry him. (But he might brave stairs if another dog goes first.)
Happy and healthy, shy but affectionate, smart little Buster has mastered the art of crate training. However, he’s still working on house-training, and outdoor rugs still seem like a great place to lift a leg when you’re in a hurry. He walks well on a leash but thinks there is a need for monitoring the human at the other end of the leash...so his toes are at risk, as are your knees if you fall! If you agile enough to walk with sweet Buster and willing to continue his training in the areas mentioned, you just may be his perfect forever. Buster is looking for a stable home with adults and mature children over the age of 10.
