Sweetheart
If you googled the phrase cute as a button, the face of this darling dog would likely appear! Button is a very sweet girl who has adjusted quite well to foster care. She is a tiny bit skittish when it comes to fast movements or loud noises, but other than that she has settled right in.
Button can be quite the entertainer. She spins with delight when her food is being prepared or when someone wants to play. She loves it when you squeak her toys.
She also enjoys taking walks and exploring, and she is quite spry for a gal her age. Button is curious and watches everything that is going on around her.
She will let you know when she needs to go out by giving you a good stare down to get her point across!
We are slowly introducing Button to other dogs, and she has done well with known, good-natured dogs of all sizes. She has also befriended a neighbor's cat on her evening walks and the two stroll along together like old buddies, and it is quite adorable.
Button has done well with children over 10 years old during her time with us but has not spent any time with younger children.
Button is being fostered in West Virginia.
