Very active, playful, affectionate, and learns new commands quickly
Bandit is a less than a year old puppy. He is very energetic and loves to play. He will remind you when it is time for you to take a play break by bringing you a toy, probably his favorite dragon toy, for a rousing game of fetch.
He very much enjoys being with his humans. Bandit hasn't met a person, adult or older child whom he doesn't love instantly. He charms everyone right away with his tail wag that shakes his whole little body. Bandit does have favorite humans, and he will never stray far from them. He is very loyal to his humans, ensuring they know that by periodically covering them with kisses.
Since Bandit is a puppy, every day is a new experience for him, and he is learning lots of new things. He is very focused during his training times. His foster parents say he has an amazing attention span and is 100 percent focused on the task when he is learning, so he learns new commands very quickly. Bandit already has some basic commands mastered.
He is crate trained though he would truly prefer to sleep in a warm bed next to or with you once he has grown up a bit.
Bandit is learning to walk nicely on a leash.
Bandit still needs some remediation and redirection of normal and expected puppy behaviors like chewing. He also needs some encouragement to eat and wants his human near him while he eats. He will need gentle training and encouragement to overcome this.
While Bandit loves his humans, he would really prefer a home with another dog to keep him company and enjoy playtime with. We don't know what he thinks of cats.
Bandit is being fostered in Florida.
A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.
A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
