Dolly groomedDolly is aptly named - she’s a little doll!  She quickly became comfortable in her foster home, playing happily with the other dogs in the family.

She’s pleased to spend time with all the people she’s met there including several respectful toddler grandchildren.

Dolly has not been exposed to cats.

Dolly is always ready for a game of fetch.  Chasing stuffed toys that are thrown across the room or in the yard brings out the puppy in her. Dolly loves mealtime and treats and will stand on her hind legs to beg for both. She’s a smart little dog and would probably enjoy learning new tricks for treats.

Dolly is happiest when she’s around her people. She loves snuggling on the couch , and at night she likes to sleep on the bed.

She has a tiny bit of separation anxiety expressed by some crying and howling when her foster mom leaves; however, she’s never been destructive even when she’s anxious.

She enjoys other dogs and would be happy to be part of a pack.

She’s a great companion dog. She’s very sweet, is laid back and calm and is not demanding. She’s not a barker, and is rather quiet, only whining quietly or whimpering sometimes if she’s anxious or wants something.

If you’re looking for a happy little dog to warm your lap and join your family, Dolly may be perfect for you.

Dolly is being fostered in Texas.
