Carrie_headshot In less than a month in foster care, Carrie has made amazing strides. She is learning a great deal from her Hav’s  siblings in the house.  She is playing with toys and initiating play with the other dogs.  When her foster Mom comes home from work, she joins in the rest of the crew of giving Mommy kisses and asking for attention.

Carrie has gone from living in a box to living in a home and becoming a wonderful bed hog. She loves to snuggle. Her favorite thing to do is root around in the bed pillows, bed made or unmade. She wiggles on her back and you can just see the happiness in her.

Freedom from a puppy mill is a wonderful thing. Carrie still needs assistance with the outside process, but she is learning little by little. She has no trouble with having her panties put on while she is inside. Carrie_NE_2

Carrie’s  choice for a furever home would be a home with another canine friend or more to learn from and someone who could help her learn a routine. Her foster Mom works outside the home, but as long as there is a canine friend to hang out with, she is good.
FYI, cats are not an issue, just something to chase and play with it they elect to do so.

Carrie is being fostered in Nebraska.
