Dewey is a sweet 3 1/2 year old chocolate boy with amber eyes and a silky coat. He's 13 lbs of posiutive energy that love attention , loves other dogs ,loves to play, loves stealing toys, loves to eat and most of all he loves to snuggle and be snuggled. He is a comedian, squirming around on his back, wiggling himself in to get just a little closer to his "people" .
He does the happy dance when ever anyone visits. He sleeps on the bed with us, on his back, tummy up, hes very trusting.
He would do best with family that is home most of the time. He does well on walks, and he is good with other dogs but can be a little possessive of toys and people. He responds quickly to corrections and has learned good manners but it is important that his new family follows thru to maintain these good doggy manners. 
He would benefit from additional obedience training but knows basic commands like sit, stay...He is house trained, and would be fine with older children. Dewey is crate trained, does really well crated in the car on long trips and he did great sailing - both on the big boat and on several long dinghy rides... but may need dramamine on windy mountain roads.
He is beautiful and will be even more handsome if his new family lets his hair grow out a bit more!
