My name is Latte. I am a five-year old (birthday in April) snowy white fella, with a touch of coffee color on my muzzle. I weigh about 15 pounds, and my coat is as soft as a baby lamb. I am ready to move on to my wonderful, forever home. I have always lived with other doggie friends, so I would like to be in a home with a pal about my size.
Bigger dogs make me a little nervous and I have to admit I sometimes overreact to them. Normally, I am a laid back guy who enjoys being taken for walks, going for rides in the car, and meeting other friends (my size) at the park. I love people too. Anyone who will give me a pet and tell me how handsome I am is "OK" with me. I walk well on a leash when we go out to find squirrels. My foster Mom says I sound like a duck when I try to entice a squirrel to come play with me. My bark changes to my talking voice. I also like to use my talking voice with people I know using guttural sounds......not barks.
I am a healthy guy. I am up to date on my shots, I have a microchip, and I just had my teeth cleaned. I do get an allergic (hot spots) reaction to fleas if I'm not protected from them so foster Mom had to use Genone Spray for a few days. I am now housebroken, and I am learning how to play. I didn't get introduced to toys as a puppy, but I like learning about playing. Maybe my new pal can help me learn more about that. Most of all, I will love you and try to make you as happy as I am. All this in return for some belly rubs, and lots of behind-my-ears pets. Oh yeah, and a treat when I'm a "good boy".........I love those words.
