Timmyface

Timmy is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old silver and charcoal neutered male with WHITE SOCKS. He's a big healthy boy ( 17 lbs, but is working to get down to 15-16 lbs). He was surrendered because his family worked all day and had little time to pay attention to him.

Timmy_bestHe loves other dogs, is cautiously friendly with strangers but warms up fast. He was timid when he arrived and in less than a day was dancing, snuggling and giving kisses to everyone. He was great at the groomer's and at the vet. He is crate trained and happily sleeps in a crate at night. He travels well and enjoys walks. He's pretty much house trained, only a couple of accidents and those were on rainy days ( doesn't want to get his feet wet!)

He is a talker, he "grrrr-ark's" and "ba-rowls" ( kind of a bark/growl/rumble from deep in his belly)  when he wants to go out, wants to eat, wants to play or wants to tattle on his foster sisters. His foster mom is convinced he says words, but no  one else can hear them as clearly as she does!!

He's a great retriever, and loves bully sticks, tennis balls, and stuffed toys, but he has a tendency to dissect stuffed animals on a mission to desqueak each one of them. He will need a good supply of chew toys.Timmy_after2

Timmy wants a family that is home most of the time. He would like a doggy brother or sister as he loves to play chase and RLH. He also learns from balanced  dogs , they give him a sense of security. He needs a family that will watch his weight, he is a willing eater and would snack all day if allowed.

Timmy would be great at obedience, he's extremely smart and learns quickly but would benefit from some formal training.

His coat is silver, like velvet, or chinchilla, it's soft and on the curlier side. His eyes are soulful, deep brown and he has the longest eyelashes.
He will make a wonderful pet for the right family.

Timmy_afterTimmy is being fostered in CA.
