Evita is the original lap angel! She will be celebrating her 10th birthday on April 25th, and it will be her first one outside of a puppy mill. She has discovered that life is good, with kind and patient people in it that love to provide her with plenty of food and yummy treats.
Evita has doggie friends in her foster home that have taught her all about the fun of walking on leash and the comfort of sleeping in the human bed at night.
Evita has a urinary tract disease that was probably the result of producing litter after litter in the puppy mill, which is now being medically managed with medication and diet.
She has slowly begun to trust and will come toward you when called and stops to be picked up, and now what she needs is someone with patience to show her that accepting and giving affection is a positive thing. Evita has begun following her foster mom from room to room, which is the first step in her new life of trusting humans.
Evita is a typical "puppy mill" angel that is being fostered in Florida.
