Alphie is having fun with his new foster family - both the humans and canines! He is such a cute little guy who NEEDS his humans to spend lots of time with him.
Alphie is completely housebroken but is not fond of his crate. He has some separation anxiety but his foster mom is working with him to lessen the stress of her leaving by leaving him for small amounts of time. Little "ins and outs" is what she calls it! He is doing well with his 2 foster Havanese siblings. He plays and plays until he drops! His new "friends" are perfect hosts and have let Alphie enjoy their toy box, and he LOVES to browse through the box and choose his toy! Then back to the box to choose another. He is not skilled at putting the toys back in the box though!
Alphie is a much happier pup when he gets LOTS of exercise. He has been joining his new foster family on many walks every day. The first day he was tired and panting. Slowly he is building his stamina. He loves to walk on the leash and be in the lead ahead of the pack. He greets everyone -dogs, children, adults- with much love and affection.
All in all, Alphie is a sweetheart of a dog! Anyone would be lucky to have him as a member of their family. He loves to be in your lap or at your feet in the same room with you and is very affectionate. Alphie loves to chase the tennis ball in the backyard too!
Alphie is being fostered in NJ.
