Charlie in FL headCharlie Adventure is how this boy likes to think of himself! Charlie is a beautiful boy with a creamy soft coat and huge brown expressive eyes that are full of curiosity. He has a very sweet personality and is more than ready for all the new experiences that he is encountering. You see, Charlie is making up for the first five years of his life spent in a puppy mill.

Charlie spent two months in Havanese Rescue learning about the good things in life where there was plenty of food and fresh water, good medical care, room to stretch and roll around, a soft clean bed of his own, Charlie in Fl 3there were people that treated him with kindness, and he even had another sweet Havanese to play with.

Charlie is also what people call a "flight risk" and one day he saw his chance and he was gone in a split second! With the help and prayers of people across the U.S. Charlie was found 8 days later, but he had endured a physical attack by some unknown animal during his days on the run.

Charlie has now healed physically, but does seem to have a fear of large dogs. He loves attention, enjoys being petted and has been giving kisses in return. He loves his treats of Rice Chex, eats ravenously and is now house trained. He walks great on leash, and when off leash in a very securely fenced yard Charlie heels very well.

Charlie loves to do the Havie Run Like Heck through the house with a big smile upon his face, he engages the resident Havies in games of play, drags toys around the house and will settle down to chew on a bone or watch out the window. And he always chooses to curl up close to his foster mom when it's time for a nap.

Charlie is a sweet boy with a huge heart and will give love back double as you dish it out to him. He is a sheer joy and will continue to blossom as he gains confidence and gets more comfortable with living life as all Havanese in the world deserve.
