Mona was a stray on the streets of Mesa, AZ and is believed to be about 2 yrs. old. She is very sweet, well mannered and gets along great with the resident dogs, never passing up an invitation to run and play! She was very shy to begin with and has now begun to settle in and grow more comfortable.
Mona is house trained and has been learning to walk on leash, as she is also being socialized. At night she snuggles in with her foster mom and a couple of other dogs to sleep the night away. She does tend to gather the toys up around the house and hoard them, sneaky little girl!
Mona will do well with a retired person brimming with patience and love, a fenced yard & another dog or two would make her very happy, and a spot of her own on your bed rounds out her wish list for the perfect forever home.
Mona is being fostered in AZ.
