Dreamer - his name fits him, because his favorite spot is lounging next to his foster mom on the couch, dreaming about the perfect forever family that is destined to be his, while gazing into her eyes. Dreamer is a sweetheart, playful and endearing. He does well with the other dogs and even likes the resident cat! Dreamer is 8 years old and weighs in at a healthy 17 lbs. He's done very well at the vet's office and really does love his little socialization trips. And of course everyone that meets him falls instantly in love with this sweetie pie.
Dreamer is very trusting and loves his massages after grooming, and of course the favorite part is the snuggling he gets afterward. Because his very favorite spot is in your lap!
Dreamer is now housetrained and was lucky enough to accompany his foster mom to a Doggie/Mommy day camp in VT where he was a STAR! He joined the beginner agility course and mastered the A-frame, the tunnel, the chute (a tunnel with a 4-foot long collapsed end), the table, and the "cat walk."
He is very reliable at "sit," pretty good at "down," and Dreamer and his fostermom were drafted to become "Couple No. 4" of the square dancing team where he performed sit/stay with three other dogs while four people walked in a circle around them to the beat of some music.
Dreamer is "dreaming" of a family that he can entertain, be interactive with and will love him forever. Dreaming of someone to continue working Agility with him!
Dreamer is being fostered in New Jersey.
