Tanner is a sweet and gentle twelve-year-old, eleven pound pup that is a pure joy to 
have around. He loves everyone and has never met a person he didn't immediately see as his friend. If you are looking for a companion to lie at your feet and keep you company Tanner is your man. He loves attention but never demands it.
Tanner will keep you in his radar but quickly learns your routine and settles in. He loves car rides and is content to enjoy is own seat either next to you or hanging out in the back. His foster mom has a doggy car seat and Tanner loves to quietly watch the world go by out the window.
Tanner is housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go out. He is even trained to use a doggy door if one is available. He is learning simple commands like sit and stay and is progressing quickly. He is content to hang out and sleep when you are away, but like all Havanese he prefers to spend his time laying at his foster mom's feet.
Tanner is good with children of all ages. He also gets along with all of his four-legged foster siblings and will even put up with the puppies that want to play, not that he intends to join in the games. With a few short barks he will alert you to a visitors approach. Then will patiently wait for his turn to say hello in a very polite manner. If you work from home or own your own business, Tanner would be a wonderful addition to your day. As an easygoing ambassador he will surely delight your customers with his gently loving personality.
