Ten-year-old Pon is an easy-going boy who quickly settled into his foster home. His foster family describes him as playful and affectionate with a sweet and gentle personality. Though he is initially shy with strangers, he warms up quickly.

Pon enjoys just about anything on the agenda. He likes going on walks but is also very happy spending time in a fenced yard or going for a car ride. He likes to play with other dogs or with people and loves squeaky toys. He quite enjoys just hanging out on the sofa with his people.  Pon gets along well with the dogs he’s met in foster care and is comfortable with men, women and children over the age of 10. He hasn’t had experience with younger children while in foster care, and we do not know how he will be around cats. 

Pon can be vocal at times, so apartment life is not recommended for him. He is reportedly fearful of storms and will hide, but as there haven’t been any bad storms while in foster care so the behavior has not been observed.

Pon might be just the guy to round out your family.

A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.  A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
