Dash is a 5-year-old love muffin! He just wants to be with his people, follows his foster mom all over the house, lies on the couch while she works, and lies on her lap, by her side, or on the floor when she watches TV in the evening. He's not big on toys unless you're playing with him, although he occasionally likes to chase balls. He adores his Havanese foster sister and sometimes can't decide whether to follow her or his foster mom when they go in 2 different directions!
Dash is quite a conversation starter on his walks. Everyone wants to ooh and aah and pet him. Initially he’s a little shy but he really does lap it up! So if you like meeting people, Dash is your wingman! He’s doing well on leash, and is just a joy to have around. He is mastering the art of doing his business outdoors and will need to be reminded and shown where to go in his new home.
Dash needs to be in a home where a person and/or dog are with him most of the time; he's had a doggie companion his whole life. He craves companionship and would be miserable being along for hours on end.
Dash loves his walks and also would like a fenced backyard where he can "run like hell," although someone committed to taking him to a dog park or other safe area on a regular basis would also work.

A donation will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended donation amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
