Introducing Archie! There’s never a dull moment with this three year old cutie in the house. He is inquisitive and learns quickly, is always up for a rousing game of fetch, loves to chomp down on his fuzzy toys, but also likes to cozy up next to you while you relax on the couch. Archie is also excited for his birthday party – he turns four in December!
Archie is fully housetrained and is good with children over the age of six. He gets along with other dogs, but first takes some time to warm up to them. He has been doing great with his two doggie siblings, but his foster mom suggests that his dog playmates have good doggie etiquette and be no more than 40 lbs.
Archie has been privileged to have a family member with him most of the time so we would like him to go to a home where he will continue to have company throughout his day. He approaches new people and experiences calmly and thoughtfully, examining them slowly from all angles before easing into the joyful enthusiasm his foster mom says has become his trademark. Within minutes he will get a sparkle in his eye, his tail will start to wag, and he jumps into the middle of all the fun.
At 19 pounds, Archie could lose a little pudge, but the long walks and vigorous play time he enjoys will be a great way to get him in shape.
Archie is being fostered in New Jersey.
